Tuesday in India: No Matter What She Has the Midas Touch

Celebrity industry is as a busy bucket of bees, especially in India, where Bollywood success has created a whole generation of golden VIPs who can sell you anything: from deodorants and sweatshirts to plumbing services and cars.

And why not to use the strategy that hasn't failed yet?

Lenskart.com has rolled out a campaign that showcases new '3D Try On' feature to improve your eye glasses buying.

The ad features Katrina Kaif - the queen of Bollywood - and from then on you've got all the nation online holding their breath and watching carefully.

Ding ding ding!

Tuesday in India: Practice Makes Perfect

Say hello to master of one thing.

Motilal Oswal launched a new ad campaign to strengthen their image as the experts in equity.

Does it get your pulse racing?

Not really.

But it's easy to remember and keeps one's focus on for pretty much all 40 seconds.

Having in mind it's made of random internet videos, therefore, peanuts for production..

..well,  I'm patting on agency Lintas' shoulder.

Tuesday in India: Some Botheration About Open Defecation

Good to see businesses tackling deep society problems.

Astral Pipes has rolled out a campaign (conceptualised by Lowe Lintas) that takes on the issue of 'open defecation', a major public health and sanitation problem in India.

Of course, it would be easy (and useless) to tell people to just stop. They need a solution instead.

Astral Pipes decides to deliver the main message through a song. And I believe this softer, less straightforward format could work well for Indian audience.

Tuesday in UK: Home is Where Google Is

There's the moment, probably no more than one Earth second, in which you know something is good.

It's the sweetness of  caramel shortbread after long diet, it's the sound of the sea after long working months.. it's the self-conscious storyteller in the beginning of this ad.

Say hello to more Google at home.

And more you there as well.

Not a zero cool ad, but great.

Tuesday in India: Old is Not Gold Apparently

What's in common between relationships and fashion?

According to Fynd's new TVC, both can go out of style in 2-month time.

Not a sensational but light-hearted ad well fit for the "Now Generation".

Also, makes me feel I'm oh-so from the generation before.

Tuesday in India: Diversity's Hot On The Menu

McDonald’s is clever. Of this you need no telling.

People has always been the center of its ads.

And we know for a fact that people respond to people.

Their newest ad for Indian market - playful, positive and pushing me towards fast food today.

Tuesday in India: First TV Ad Shot On iPhone

Product is the hero of its own ad?

It rarely works well these days but here it does.

Milton has released a TVC for its 'Leak Lock Steel Tiffin' and it's claimed to be shot on an iPhone

True or PR stunt - who am I to judge?

It grabs attention, responds to consumer's need and shows core product benefit.

Simplicity at its best.
